Vintage Kanter clarinet mouthpiece from the estate of Gary Corrin. Serial number AA412. Confirmed with James Kanter as the mouthpiece purchased by Gary Corrin on October 8, 1978. Gary Corrin was the sole owner. The mouthpiece appears to retain its original AA facing with a narrow table and rails. This is a closer-tip Kanter facing with a medium length, made on an exemplary Riffault blank and representative of Jim Kanter’s finest early-period work from the 1970s. Because of the closer facing, it is also a prime candidate for refacing to a customer’s personal preferences. Overall condition is excellent, with normal signs of careful use.
